File:Micrometerioid Shielding Design (Whipple Shield) blueprint.png[edit]

Dubious image by user since indef blocked on Commons and en:w for hoaxes regarding NASA, false claims, and dishonestly manipulated images. "Raphael Chryslar" or "John Chryslar" seem pseudonyms used by the hoaxer or hoaxing co-conspirator on Flickr. Image currently in use. I did not find other version in reverse image search. Infrogmation of New Orleans (talk) 00:09, 1 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Delete. Description says this image was "designed by Raphael Chryslar, sent to Wikipedia for free" - in other words, it's someone's imaginary design, not a "blueprint", and it's not clear that it has any relationship to what's actually installed on the ISS. Similar to UK, no freedom of panorama for "graphic works" in Irish A1Cafel (talk) 05:16, 1 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

  •  Comment: So is there no "artistic craftsmanship" in this work which is allowed in Ireland per Commons:Copyright rules by territory/Ireland#Freedom of panorama? Ww2censor (talk) 11:07, 1 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@Ww2censor this is not a work of craftsmen. Works of artistic craftsmanship include pottery, handicrafts, floor/wall mosaics, clothing (textiles), and stained-glass windows. Those are among examples found at COM:FOP UK, and unless Irish courts state otherwise, it is reasonable to assume that Irish FOP follows the British FOP. Murals are typically not works of craftsmen but by painters (muralists or street artists). JWilz12345 (Talk|Contrib's.) 09:08, 23 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Delete artist is James Earley. He doesn't appear to be a craftsman. Flickr import should be deleted as having no commercial Creative Commons license permission from him. JWilz12345 (Talk|Contrib's.) 09:11, 23 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Album cover from Argentine group Seru Giran published between 1978-1982 when they were active. The images are in the PD in Argentina (25 years after publication), but they were not in 1996 at URAA time. Thus, they are still protected by copyright in the US. The monument was completed in 1932 by Jean Curot (1882–1954), François Demuth (year of death unknown, born in 1884), and Ernest Grosber (1884–1955). There is no freedom of panorama in Luxembourg. The copyright term of the country is 70 years, and the image can be undeleted in 20262028 (due to COM:URAA).
