"Please don't ping me"[edit]

I am asking you the following as an admin: at https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Commons:Help_desk&oldid=824550643#A_supposed_inaccuracy_in_my_map you say, "Please don't ping me again." Do I understand correctly that you are asking not to be informed when someone raises a question about a disagreement in which you have been involved? That's unusual, and it can lead to you being blind-sided. If that's really your intent, fine, but please don't complain if it lead to you being blind-sided. - Jmabel ! talk 20:04, 23 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

@Jmabel: thanks for asking, but I just made sure that they don't ping me again (finding multiple messages on my talk page was enough for one day). Best, M.Bitton (talk) 20:08, 23 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
