Hello, could you please check this user's contribution? He's masse uploading photos referring to https://www.mediathek.admin.ch/ (without direct link to each photo). File:NVIDIA logo.svg[edit]
Hi Christian Ferrer. Can you tell whether File:NVIDIA logo.svg is the same as any of the files you deleted in August 2016 per Commons:Deletion requests/Nvidia logos or is the same as File:Nvidia image logo.svg that Magog the Ogre deleted in March 2021? -- Marchjuly (talk) 13:06, 15 August 2023 (UTC)

Hi. I'd like to appeal the decision to add this Flickr account to the COM:QFI list. It seems to have been the official account for Land Rover (the car company) for Middle East and North Africa. It started in 2010, and was active through 2018, and during that time uploaded something like 11,000 Creative Commons Attribution licensed images of official Land Rover Middle East and North Africa events, many with attending celebrities. So I think it's both legitimate, and valuable. Commons_talk:Questionable_Flickr_images/Archive_5#Land_Rover_MENA indicates it was added to QFI by admin User:INeverCry by your request, and he's banned now, but you seem to be an admin; would you be able to reverse the decision, please? --GRuban (talk) 20:25, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
- @GRuban: Hi, that was not my request, it was a request made by @Elisfkc: , apparently I only archived the request on the talk page. Some content on the Flickr account is potentialy problematic, I'm not confident that images such as e.g. [4] or [5] have really free licenses given by Land Rover. Therefore from my point of view if a part of the stream is questionable so then this make the rest a bit questionable too. Indeed how to sort out what is credibly a work owned by the (local) Land Rover vs what is owned by Land Rover. But some other users (or administrators) may have different opinions and this question maybe deserve to be addressed with a larger audience, such as in the Village Pump/Copyright, or in the admin. noticeboard.
