Not sure how they do it where you live. But where I’m from that’s a pos move. Thomas R Barnes (talk) 09:48, 31 October 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Occam's Razor and Wikimedia Commons[edit]

Dear Gbawden, today I saw that you have closed nomination of a set of files, depicting pre-revolutionary Iran, as keep (example: Commons:Deletion requests/File:Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi and Iranian national football team.jpg). The argument that you referred to for keeping the files was that "we use Occam's Razor". I could not find any reference to that among policies and guidelines of Commons and my question regarding this from the user who presented this reasoning remains unanswered. Could you please enlighten me about the basis for utilizing Occam's Razor on Commons? Frankly, I think Commons:Project scope/Evidence is contradicting such default assumptions. Hi, getting back to this deletion request: We unfortunately only have a release for the phot itself, not for the artwork displayed in it. Could you therefore please 're-delete' the versions of the file that have not been 'censored'? Thank you, Gnom (talk) 15:05, 23 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
